Last week we searched for the best views in Singapore and this week we continued to explore the beautiful city

We had so much fun exploring Singapore the other day that we just had to come back and film again! Today’s plan is to visit a couple of major tourist attractions that look super cool, but we’re starting off with a bit of a hidden gem.

Currently, we’re in a neighborhood called Fatah. Our hotel is situated here, so we decided to explore the area.

If you’re interested, the hotel link is below. We’re heading to a road called Kunsing Road, known for its beautiful and colorful shop houses—perfect for Instagram. It’s a bit off the beaten path, so take notes!

I think we’re here now. We took a wrong turn earlier and ended up behind the buildings. But we found it! It’s super colorful, and each building looks different.

Check this out, guys! They’re so colorful, and we’re the only ones here, apart from some traffic. Talk about an Instagram secret spot!

So, as we mentioned, this area is called Patong. It’s a bit off the beaten path and is considered one of the oldest neighborhoods in Singapore.

It’s primarily made up of Peranakan culture, mainly Chinese people who settled here starting in the 15th century.

It’s very historic, cultural, and prosperous. We’ve heard that there are lots of bungalows here with larger gardens than other areas in Singapore, making it quite unique.

We randomly found the Pucker Market and decided to try something new: roasted duck noodles. We think it’s going to be really good. In a few videos ago, we were at the Maxwell Food Center, trying hawker food.

If you want to check that out, it’s linked in our channel. We had a great time there, so when we stumbled upon this hawker center, we decided to try something different.

We ended up getting duck noodles. It looks really interesting and colorful, and the duck looks superb!

We’re not sure what kind of soup this is, but let’s give it a try. Anna is going first. Big messy bites are the good kind!

The skin of the duck has a sweet sauce, almost like soy with a coffee flavor, but really sweet. Combined with the noodles, it’s simple but very yummy.

Let’s try the soup. It’s really simple but good. It tastes like a vegetable broth, but it could be a meat broth, like chicken. It’s a nice, homey soup.

Lunch was exceptionally good. Now we are back at Gardens by the Bay. We were here in our last video, which you must check out because it features an amazing light show. Today, we’re visiting the Cloud Forest.

We’re inside the Cloud Forest, a botanical garden housed in a massive greenhouse with a giant living wall. It’s so huge that the camera can’t do it justice. We’ve heard there might be mist coming in about 15 minutes.

This place has a diverse range of plants from tropical rainforests to evergreens. It’s amazing how they all coexist.

The entrance fee is just 25 US dollars for both of us, which is a great deal considering how expensive Singapore can be.

We’re now on the sixth floor, and we can see the mist starting. It’s not as much as we expected, but it’s still very cool. This place is incredible, and we highly recommend it.

Next up, we are heading to Future World at the ArtScience Museum. Last week, we walked by it and were intrigued.

Future World is like being in a video game with animated stuff everywhere. It’s a bit smaller than expected, and we paid about 15 US dollars each. The highlight is a light tunnel that looks amazing.

Now, we’re off to Haji Lane, known for its street art and cool bars. It seems like a vibrant place with lots of graffiti and bars. It’s probably more lively later in the day.

As we walk down the street, we notice there’s a lot more shopping here than we expected, from big brands to nice boutiques. The shop houses are historic-looking with beautiful colors and shutters.

Singapore, you have been incredible, but it’s time for us to go. We had an amazing time exploring the city and enjoying the food. The city is a mix of old streets and ultra-modern areas, almost futuristic.

The public transport is easy to use, and taxis and Grab rides are affordable, despite Singapore’s reputation for being expensive.

If you’re new around here, make sure to subscribe and hit the notification bell to know when new videos are out. We’re Trevor and Anna, the Delightful Travelers, and we’d love to hear from you in the comments below.

In our last video, we explored more of the city and enjoyed the Gardens by the Bay light show. Next, we’re heading to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Stay tuned!
