Malaysia is a beauty to behold in my personal observation
Alright, it’s time to travel again! My last travel reaction was to Hong Kong, and now we’re going to explore Malaysia.
I had never really considered traveling to Malaysia before, but I think it could be a hidden gem worth discovering.
That’s why I’ve decided to return to Expedia for their travel vlogs and destination information.
They produce great content, so I’ll stick with them for this journey. Let’s watch the travel videos they have on Malaysia.
Okay, here we go, three, two, one.
Malaysia is situated just north of the equator, between Thailand and Singapore. It’s a federation of 13 states, with 11 on the Malaysian peninsula and 2 on the island of Borneo.
With a population of just over 27 million, a low cost of living, and a year-round tropical climate, Malaysia remains a favorite destination for travelers worldwide.
Malaysia is a nation rich in diversity. One of the first places you’ll notice this diversity is in the smiling faces of those waiting to greet you.
It’s truly a racial melting pot where Malay, Indian, Chinese, and smaller ethnic groups live together in respectful harmony.
This cultural heritage adds spice and color to every aspect of life here, from religions and festivals to culinary traditions and architecture.
The national language is Malay, but English is widely spoken, making it easy for travelers to navigate and connect with the locals.
Malaysia is also a country of awe-inspiring geographical diversity. If you’re looking for unspoiled beaches and clear tropical water, you’re in the right place.
Some of the world’s most pristine islands and marine habitats await you. [Music] Feel the need to rise above the mundane everyday world?
Come let your spirit soar among highland hideaways and mist-shrouded mountains. [Music]
If you’re longing for a little adventure, explore some of the earth’s steamiest jungles, wildest rivers, and longest cave systems.
Malaysia is a land of natural diversity, and as one of the 12 most biologically diverse countries in the world, it’s a treasure trove of amazing natural richness and beauty.
Seventy percent of the country’s land area remains forested, and Malaysia is a world leader in conservation and sustainable tourism programs. [Music]
For active travelers, there are endless ways to enjoy the Malaysian outdoors. Tee off on some of the world’s most beautiful golf courses or explore endless trekking trails.
Even though golf isn’t really my thing, if I were to play for the first time, I’d probably want to do it here. The scenery looks incredible.
Take a boat up the river into valleys, forests, and jungles that most people will only ever experience in nature magazines. [Music]
Then there are the urban jungles to explore. In Malaysia, the past and the future sit side by side.
Some of the new world’s most celebrated architectural creations rise above proud historic districts that have changed little for decades.
Malaysians love to shop, and the country is packed with modern plazas, quaint shophouses, and sprawling markets.
From designer fashions and electronics to exquisite tribal handicrafts and antiques, Malaysia is a paradise for bargain hunters.
There are thousands of temples and places of worship that dazzle the senses and soothe the soul, alongside beauty spas waiting to rejuvenate the mind, body, and spirit.
Malaysia is a land with a culture as diverse as those who come to experience it. Many who visit often return, because no two visits to Malaysia are quite the same. [Music]
I wish I had the money to travel, and I wish the coronavirus would stop so I could go to Malaysia. It’s beautiful, guys, absolutely beautiful. I don’t know why I haven’t thought about going there before.
I’ve always considered Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, and Thailand, but never Malaysia. I knew the country existed, of course, but I never really thought, “Why not Malaysia?” Wow, it’s stunning.
Now, I just need to save up some money!
