We’re Olivia and Nathan How To Travel Montenegro – Is it worth visiting? | Montenegro Travel Guide (Crna Gora) Is …

Now this this is our kind of vacation you’ve heard of Greece and Croatia but do you know about Montenegro? Last year we traveled to 15 countries in Europe and Montenegro by far surprised us the most. Montenegro is a famous tourist destination that most Europeans know

But when I brought it up to my friends back in the States a lot of them had no idea where it was. Except for maybe that one time it was featured in James Bond Casino Royale but that wasn’t even Montenegro. But that’s what inspired us to make this video

If you love a beachside holiday and affordable travel you’re going to want to look into Montenegro. hey I’m Olivia and this is Nathan and this is our channel ON World Travel we’ve been living abroad and traveling the world for about four years now and recently decided to share our journey on YouTube.

If you enjoy our travel guides, vlogs and tutorials subscribe and welcome aboard. Montenegro is located near Italy, Croatia and Greece right along the Adriatic coast and it’s a relatively small country. If you’re from Europe it’s comparable to Northern Ireland and if you’re from The States it’s comparable to

Connecticut. Yes, Montenegro sports the classic crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic but it also has these crazy fjord-like mountains and what makes it really unique is how close everything is And be sure to stick around for the second half of this video to see all the

Other beautiful destinations you can explore away from the coast. A lot of tourists choose to visit Montenegro by cruise ship but that only provides a limited experience. We say give yourself about a week or so if you just plan on

Sticking around the coast but if you want to see a lot more of the country we recommend that you stay at least two. All right so the best thing about Montenegro was how close all the cities and beaches were to each other and how easy it was to get around.

We are in Sveti Stefan right now We are scootering over to Petrovac. They’ve got 182 miles of unspoiled coastlines and literally a 117 of the nicest beaches we’ve ever seen And with only a two-hour span of coastline you have some of the most beautiful spots in the world

And if you’re willing to drive a little bit further you’ll hit Petrovac and Bar you could see all of those places in a long weekend easily as the entire coastline from Herceg novi to Ulcinj only takes two and a half hours. And the prices of things in Montenegro are just *kiss sound*

This Airbnb we stayed in had a rooftop pool and ocean views for $80 per night and a scooter rental was $25 for the day. Here’s Nathan giving you a breakdown of what a luxurious breakfast goes for Omelette 3.50 Euros Bacon and eggs 4 Euros Scrambled eggs 3.50 Euros Stuffed sausage looking finger dumpling

Cheesy filled 4 Euro Hamburger with fries and onion rings 5 Euro And although a red convertible with a Pomeranian in your lap is great A motorbike in the warmer months is the number one thing we’d recommend doing. Just pack your bathing

Suit some snacks and sunscreen cruise down the coast and around the Bay of Kotor and stop for a dip in each city just don’t get stuck with the slow 50cc bike like we did on our first day “we are going so freaking slow”

And while Montenegro is known for its beaches, Montenegro has a seriously underrated national park and was actually named for its beautiful mountains and canyons “Monte” “Negro” quite literally means “Black Mountain” From Durmitor National Park in the north to Skadar lake in the South Montenegro is a traveler’s paradise

And in our experience Montenegrins were super down-to-earth and easy to be friends with. And we hardly ran into any english-speaking tourists outside of Kotor where all the cruise ships land. We met mostly Serbian and Russian tourists. As for the food, if you try any dish you have to get the ćevapčići

And grab some Burek at the local bakery Guys I recommend Montenegro to all of my friends I had the best time while I was there and I hope this inspires you to make the trip, too.

And as always please like and subscribe as we are a new channel and it really helps us to boost that algorithm. Thanks for watching 🙂
