Discover Safari World Bangkok and Marine Park with Peter Davis and his family in Traveloka Travel Guide 2019!

Do I have to go on again? Hi, I’m Peter Davis, and this is my family: Preston, Parker, and Priscilla. Together, we’ll be exploring the best theme parks and attractions across Southeast Asia.

Stay tuned to discover the most exciting rides and activities, and what you need to know before visiting. This is Trav Loca Travel Guide, Season 2.

Welcome to Safari World Bangkok, a 480-acre open zoo and leisure park. This place is unlike any other—you’ll find animals roaming freely as they would in their natural habitats.

There are two different parks you can explore: Safari Park and Marine Park. You can purchase your tickets at the entrance or buy them online for the best deals and discounts. Check out Trav Loca!

Let’s start with the most popular attraction here: Safari Park. You can get on a bus for a 45-minute scenic tour of the open park, or you can drive your own car, which, in my opinion, is a lot more exciting and scary.

Just remember to keep your doors locked and whatever you do, do not get out of your car. During this 8 km drive, you’ll see all sorts of wild animals including tigers, lions, zebras, giraffes, and more.

This is the first time we’ve gotten so close to the animals, and it’s a very, very good experience.

Oh dear, there was a lion! It was very sharp and growling a bit. Preston, did you like the tigers and lions? They’re just over there! Preston, don’t open the window!

The best time to come is during feeding time, which is around 10:00 a.m. daily, so you’ll want to get here before then.

Next, head over to Marine Park where you’ll find amazing live shows and performances. Watch these beautiful, majestic creatures as they somersault into the air and play in a circus-like performance at the Dolphin Show.

Next, we have the orangutan boxing show starring the funniest and hairiest champions of the world—the undefeated orangutans! It was a very, very Thai-style show and super funny.

Don’t forget to visit our cheeky little friends at the sea lion show. Watch as they pull off tricks and stunts to entertain you in exchange for some fishy treats. You can also take photos with the animals at the end of each show.

Catch the western cowboy stunt show filled with explosions, gunfire, and fistfights—similar to a Hollywood action movie.

Another popular attraction here is Spy War, an action-packed stage show with jet skis and more pyrotechnic explosions. If you’re sitting in one of the front rows, you’ll feel the heat from some of the flames, and you might also get wet.

Visit Safari Terrace if you’re up for some friendly interaction with the tallest creatures in the world. There are over 200 giraffes here that you can feed. Just purchase a bucket of bananas and serve it to them using a chopstick.

Make sure you hold on tight and don’t let go of your chopstick!

Mini World is an aviary filled with bright, colorful parakeets that you can feed. Just be warned that as soon as you feed one, a dozen more will come flying out.

This is Eggor, where you can learn all about birds and how they develop from embryo to hatchling and more. It’s an excellent exhibition.

Just outside Eggor, you’ll find the walrus exhibit where these large, friendly marine mammals frolic mischievously in the water and wave at visitors, asking them to come and play. Watch out as they can sometimes surprise you with a friendly splash!

Hop into the River Safari boat cruise and encounter some fearsome snakes and crocodiles. Don’t worry though, the animals here are mechanical and intended to pop out and surprise you.

With so much to explore and see, you’re definitely going to get hungry. Luckily for you, there are a number of different food options, from buffet spreads to fast food and local Thai dishes at the food court.

Fancy some dessert after all that exploring? Then head over to Animal Café where you can enjoy some mouthwatering animal-themed cakes and ice cream.

We have Tiger Roll, Zebra Crossing, Giraffe Terrace, and Elephant Split. I can’t wait to eat them before they all melt!

That is the end of our tour of Safari World Bangkok. If you enjoyed this video, make sure you comment down below and hit that like and subscribe button so you don’t miss out on any of the other cool videos coming up after this.
